3 People Hospitalized After Home Explodes In Lancaster County: Authorities

Three people, including a child, have been hospitalized following an explosion in Lancaster County on Friday morning, authorities say.

A leaking propane tank caused an explosion which sparked a house fire in the 1400 block of Union Grove Road in East Earl Township on Dec. 23  around 4 a.m. 

Four people were recused from the home and two of the adults and a child were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities with the Weaverland Valley fire department.

No other injuries were reported.

The home is considered a "total loss" according to fire officials.
